First Romance Track: Tang Xin and Wu Si
Tang Xin (played by Xuan Lu) is a journalist who considers herself an independent woman, skeptical of marriage yet fascinated by heroic ideals.
She meets Wu Si (played by Jin Han), the captain of a Marine Corps company, through a matchmaking arrangement. His disciplined, rigid life plan clashes with Tang Xin’s free-spirited nature.
From mutual annoyance, they grow closer through shared life-or-death trials, such as typhoon rescue missions, gradually understanding each other’s values and forming a deep bond.

Second Romance Track: Lan Yangyang and Zong Qing
Lan Yangyang (played by Tian Ai), a medical school graduate, falls in love at first sight with officer Zong Qing (played by Xu Yang) and they elope in a whirlwind romance.
Their relationship faces challenges due to career differences and long separations.
Through scenes involving the “military spouses’ support group,” Lan Yangyang evolves from romantic idealism to understanding the responsibilities of being a military spouse.

Wu Si’s communications go dark during a maritime rights protection mission, disrupting their wedding plans.

Zong Qing misses his wife’s childbirth due to a sudden drill, highlighting the military spirit of prioritizing the nation over family.
