  • The second-generation inheritor of Da Long Feng Mahjong Parlor, Situ Kau (played by Tam Chun-yin), takes over the family business at a young age, witnessing the changes and interpersonal dynamics of Wan Chai. One day, he acquires the struggling amateur ensemble “Harbour Orchestral Band.” His assistant Cheung Tit (Lee Ka-sin) initially objects strongly, but upon learning that the ensemble’s cellist Shen Ga-ming (Koko Kou) is, in fact, his long-lost daughter, she chooses to break down her biases and becomes deputy conductor to help reunite father and daughter.
The storyline further weaves in the rivalry with Ouyang Chung (John Chiang Tai Wai), chairman of Devilong Group, who harbors past grudges from a mahjong confrontation with Situ Kau’s father. Years later, Ouyang returns, seeking control over Wan Chai’s mahjong scene. Situ Kau must balance running the parlor, personal relationships, and family legacy, while preserving his traditional values and the orchestra’s vision. The drama centers on family emotions, neighborhood bonding, music, and mahjong culture—imbued with warmth and humanity.
